A week to go and we have taken over the basement! Tonight everything has to go in the packs for our final practice hike Saturday. As you can see from the LARGE amount of STUFF, we are going to have to pare it down as much as possible.

All this for two? or just one? Still, looks like a lot to carry along! Take only the essential, and then, the smallest/lightest you can find!

Thanks for the ideas Lillian. I know your experience is good advice. We are going to lighten up and we are sharing much of the soap/toothpaste type items.
Biggest issues right now are after hiking shoes for my daughter and keeping our clothes to a minimum.
