Is this for just one? I guess you'll be sharing the first aid/repair kit. Still, looks like a lot!
For my mid April/May 2007 camino, I:
1. switched the big guidebook for a pocket sized version with route/relief maps and brief listings of facilities along the way. Didn’t need the large one.
2. didn’t take a water bottle: just washed/refilled a plastic one which is lighter. Kept and replaced every week.
3. left sink drain cover in the second albergue. Didn’t use/need after all.
4. Weatherman knife too heavy, a small 1 ½ “ swiss army knife, scissors and knife is light and more than enough to cut bandages and chorizos for a bocadillo
5. instead of toilet paper, always carried a full Kleenex pack in my pocket, can replace easily in any town.
6. after losing two headlamps, decided to go on without any. There’s enough light to get up at night except in two albergues where electricity was cut off between 10pm-6am
7. took only one multifunctional Buff: a bandana, ponytail holder, sun-guard, scarf or hat, neck gaiter or dust screen. Very light and dries in minutes. Got at www.rei.com.
8. took a nylon shoulder bag to carry my bathing needs, fresh clothing, camera, documents with me into the shower stalls.
9. got by with only 2 sports bras.

Best wishes for a buen camino and good weather to you both!
